We will implement a similar schedule as last year, to minimize the number of days out of school our members need to take. The Board meeting will be on Thursday morning (November 30). Lunch on Thursday will be on your own; there are several options in the immediate area. The general Membership Meeting will begin at 12:00 noon; there will be a variety of presentations, workshops, and sessions throughout the day that will include:
The membership dinner will be on Thursday evening.
Our 2017 Winter Meeting will resume on Friday (December 1) with a full morning session that includes a working breakfast and a "grab & go lunch". Of course, we encourage you to stick around after that...
Once again we are teaming up with NAWD, the National Association of Workshop Directors, to present a Speakers' Showcase from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on site at the Hotel RL Spokane. All NASSCED members along with attendees for the NAWD National Conference on Student Activities (see below for more information) are invited to join us for this special event. You'll get the chance to see each of these speakers in action, and then social time to meet and greet with them. This year's featured speakers will be:

The 2017 National Conference for Student Activities, presented by NAWD, will follow on Fri-Sun. December 1-3, also at the Hotel RL Spokane.
We encourage all of our members to stick around and join fellow leaders in the field of Student Activities from throughout North America to share great ideas about student activities, hear great speakers, attend (or present) great workshops, and have a great time doing it.
The NCSA represents a unique opportunity for those involved in student activities to share their passion, grow as professionals, and network both formally and informally with others. You'll leave ready to tackle your biggest challenges and serve your student leaders and advisors.
For more information about the 2017 National Conference on Student Activities, please visit the NAWD website, located at www.nawd.com.
